Using this website

By using boshat.org/, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You may use the site for any lawful purpose. Please do not try to break into, overload, or disrupt it; do not use the forms to send spam, malicious files, or anything unlawful or abusive; and do not impersonate anyone.

Our content

The text, photographs, logo, and design of this website belong to BOSHAT or to the people who gave us permission to use them. You are welcome to share links to any page, and to quote short passages with credit. Please do not reuse our photographs, particularly photographs of people, without asking first.

Donations

All gifts are voluntary. BOSHAT is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, EIN 41-2702247, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Unless we tell you otherwise in writing, no goods or services are provided in exchange for a gift. We are not tax advisors; please check with yours about your own situation.

Designated gifts. When you choose a fund, we use your gift for that purpose. If that program becomes fully funded, is discontinued, or cannot reasonably be carried out, the board will apply your gift to the most similar purpose within our mission.

Unrestricted gifts ("wherever it's needed most") are applied by the board to the work where they will do the most good.

Acknowledgments. We send a written acknowledgment for gifts when we can identify the donor, and always for any single gift of $250 or more, as the IRS requires. The donation notice on this website is not a receipt: it tells us a gift is on its way, and the acknowledgment follows once it arrives.

Refunds. If you gave by mistake or sent the wrong amount, email boshat.org@gmail.com within 30 days and we will work with you to correct it. Gifts that have already been spent on a program cannot always be returned.

Payment safety. Zelle payments go only to BUILDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCHOOLS (Zelle tag: boshat) — the QR code on our Donate page opens exactly that recipient. Checks are payable only to BOSHAT. We will never phone, text, or message you asking for payment to a different account. Zelle payments generally cannot be reversed once sent, so please check the name your banking app shows before you send.

Information you send us

Please make sure what you send through a form is accurate and is yours to share. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

Accuracy

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but programs, events, and dates change. Nothing on this site is professional, legal, tax, or medical advice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
