Programs

Local Community (Utah)

  • College Access & Career Guidance: We provide free counseling for first-generation and underprivileged students, including ACT/SAT prep, essay coaching, and FAFSA/scholarship application assistance to make higher education financially accessible.
  • Youth Leadership & Civic Engagement: We mentor local youth through a volunteer bridge program, connecting them with underserved senior communities to provide social support and foster civic responsibility.
  • Community Partnership Initiative: BOSHAT collaborates with local 501(c)(3) organizations to fill service gaps. Joint projects include food drives, community health fairs, and educational cultural events such as art exhibits, science fairs, and film festivals.
  • Domestic Humanitarian Support: We provide emergency "safety net" support (food, clothing, and essential medicine) to local elderly or indigent populations lacking basic resources.

Bangladesh Projects

  • Educational Enrichment & STEAM: BOSHAT operates after-school programs for underprivileged youth, providing homework assistance, vocabulary development, and hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) workshops to reduce dropout rates and build workforce readiness.
  • The BOSHAT Scholarship Fund: We provide merit-based scholarships to low-income students. Grants are paid directly to accredited institutions to cover tuition, books, and fees for higher education.
  • Holistic Health & Nutrition: To support academic success, we provide nutritious snacks to program participants alongside physical education and mental wellness workshops to combat malnutrition and sedentary lifestyles.
  • Mobile Health Clinics: We fund mobile clinics in remote regions to provide preventative screenings, basic medical treatment, and health education, ensuring impoverished families remain healthy enough to sustain employment.
  • Vocational Training & Economic Empowerment: We facilitate skills training in trades; including electrical work, driving, masonry, welding, and sewing, to empower underprivileged individuals with the professional skills needed for financial self-sufficiency.
  • Humanitarian Relief: We provide a "safety net" of food, clothing, and essential medicine to elderly, disabled, or indigent individuals who are unable to support themselves.

How We Choose Projects

  • Feasibility and partner capability
  • Measurable impact and sustainability
